When injected, Jeuveau temporarily prevents your nerves from telling your facial muscles to flex. The result? In clinical trials, Jeuveau was shown to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines. 

Jeuveau is a botulinum toxin type A injection used in the treatment of wrinkles. It’s also sometimes called the new Botox or “Newtox” for short because it’s a new version of the same active ingredient used in original Botox Injection.

Jeuveau is a better fit for certain types of facial wrinkles compared to Botox— all at a slightly cheaper price. It works faster and gives a more natural softer appearance.

In clinical trials, Jeuveau was shown to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines. In US studies, 68% and 70% of Jeuveau patients had a 2-grade or better physician- and patient-rated improvement in frown lines at Day 30. But that's not all. If it’s your first time getting a treatment, you may be a little nervous and that’s okay! Localized pain, infection, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, erythema, and/or bleeding/bruising may be associated with the injection. Tell your healthcare provider about all your muscle or nerve conditions, such as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease, Myasthenia gravis, or Lambert-Eaton syndrome, as you may be at increased risk of serious side effects including difficulty swallowing and difficulty breathing from typical doses of Jeuveau.

Tell your healthcare provider about all your medical conditions, including: any side effects from botulinum toxin products, including dry eye; breathing, swallowing, bleeding, or heart problems; plans to have surgery; weakness of forehead muscles; drooping eyelids; have had surgery on your face; are pregnant or breastfeeding or plan to become pregnant or breastfeed (it is not known if Jeuveau can harm your unborn baby or passes into breast milk).

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Using Jeuveau with certain other medicines may cause serious side effects. Do not start any new medicines until you have told your healthcare provider that you have received Jeuveau in the past.

Especially tell your healthcare provider if you: have received any other botulinum toxin product in the past and the last 4 months, and exactly which product you received (such as BOTOX, BOTOX Cosmetic, MYOBLOC, DYSPORT, XEOMIN, or DAXXIFY).

Severe Muscle Weakness

💧 Problems with swallowing, speaking, or breathing due to muscle weakness can be severe and life-threatening.

⚠️ Individuals with pre-existing swallowing or breathing difficulties are at the highest risk.

⏳ Swallowing problems may last for several months.

Spread of Toxin Effects

🚫 The effects of botulinum toxin may spread from the injection site and cause serious symptoms, including:

💪 Loss of strength or all-over muscle weakness

👀 Double vision or blurred vision

😴 Drooping eyelids 🔊 Hoarseness or voice changes

🗣️ Trouble speaking clearly

🚻 Loss of bladder control

😮‍💨 Difficulty breathing or swallowing

🌡️ Allergic Reactions: Symptoms include itching, rash, red welts, wheezing, asthma symptoms, trouble breathing, dizziness, or fainting. Seek emergency medical help immediately if these occur.

❤️ Heart Problems: Irregular heartbeat and, in rare cases, heart attacks have been reported in people receiving botulinum toxin products.

👁️ Eye Problems: Dry eyes, reduced blinking, and corneal issues may occur. Report any eye pain, vision changes, or sensitivity to light to your healthcare provider.
